Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that people of the region including Kashmir have the right to lasting peace.
According to a statement issued by Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Lahore Garrison. On the occasion, Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz received the Commander.
The Army Chief spoke on professional matters, internal and external situation and addressed the garrison officers while highlighting Pakistan’s vision for lasting peace in the region. The Army Chief also spoke on the situation on the eastern border and Kashmir.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that we are committed to resolve Kashmir as per the wishes of Kashmiris. Resolving the Kashmir dispute is necessary according to the aspirations of Kashmiris.
The Army Chief also said that there is a need to be more vigilant and prepared in the challenges of hybrid warfare.
