Another important milestone for the revival of cricket in Pakistan, the South African team arrived in Pakistan after thirteen years and three months. The 38-member squad arrived in Karachi on a chartered flight.
A strong team from South Africa has come to Pakistan under the leadership of Quinton de Kock. The visiting team was taken to the hotel from the airport under tight security. The visiting team will train at the Karachi Gymkhana during the quarantine. Four practice wickets have been prepared at the Gymkhana Ground. Players will stay in a private hotel. Where they can come to the ground from the hotel in the biosecure bubble. After completing the quarantine time, the visiting team will start practice at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Two Test matches and three T20 International matches will play between South Africa and Pakistan. The series will begin on January 26 with the first Test at the National Cricket Stadium in Karachi.

Furthermore, CSA will name its T20 squad later, while the 20-over match specialists are due to arrive in Pakistan on February 3.
