PTI members beat up deviant comrades, Members of PTI and PPP also got into a scuffle

Karachi ( REPORTBEAT ):Members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) attacked three of their deviant comrades in the Sindh Assembly.

The three MPAs, Aslam Abro, Shehryar Shar and Karim Bakhsh Gabol, had earlier announced that they will vote as per their aspirations.

The situation in the assembly turned ugly when Gabool was approached by fellow PTI MPAs including Khurrum Sher Zaman, Saeed Afridi and Bilal Ghafoor even before he had taken his seat, and asked him to come with them.

After a brief argument, the PTI MPAs tried to take Gabool out at which point the PPP MPAs intervened in an attempt to resolve the matter.

However, the situation further escalated and led to a scuffle between the PTI and PPP lawmakers.

“This is not the way. Speaker sahab, they are kidnapping an MPA from the house,” shouted Mukesh Kumar Chawla, urging the assembly speaker to intervene.

Zaman and other PTI MPAs asked the PPP lawmakers to not intervene as the issue was “an internal party matter”.

However, the resistance led to a physical fight between the members of the two parties when the PPP lawmakers tried to free Gabool from the custody of his fellow party MPAs.

When the “rebel” PTI members entered the Sindh Assembly, they were attacked by the PTI MPAs, resulting in chaos.

PPP members also got involved to disengage the fighting lawmakers. The assembly turned into a wrestling ring by the PTI members.

Abro spoke to the media and said they have made it clear to everyone that they will not vote along the party lines. He alleged that Senate tickets were sold and that they do not agree with the selection of Saifullah Abro and Faisal Vawda.
