Preparations to drop petroleum bombs in the country after four days, OGRA recommends increase in petrol price by Rs20.7

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of increase in prices of petroleum products to the Petroleum Division from March 1.

However, the final decision on the modification of petroleum products will be taken by the Finance Ministry in consultation with the Prime Minister.

Prices of petroleum products are likely to go up from March 1, and OGRA has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division in this regard.

The proposed prices of petroleum products have been fixed on the basis of a levy of Rs 30 per liter, under which it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs 20.7 per liter and diesel by Rs 19.61 per liter.
