ISLAMABAD (REPORTBEAT) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday have nominated separate candidates for the post of opposition leader in the upper house of the Parliament, Senate.
According to sources, the PPP has provided the name of Sherry Rehman for opposition leader position. Awami National Party (ANP) and Balochistan National Party- Mengal (BNP-Mengal) have assured complete support to PPP.
Meanwhile, PML-N has selected Azam Nazeer Tarar as a nominee for opposition leader seat in the Senate.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi told that the members of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had agreed to bring opposition leader from PML-N.
