KARACHI ( REPORTBEAT ) -A successful joint operation by Pakistan Maritime Security Agency and Customs Intelligence on a suspicious boat in Pakistani waters has seized drugs worth billions of rupees drugs.
According to Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, about 240 kg of hashish was recovered from a suspicious boat in the open sea during the operation. The drugs, valued at about 816 million Pakistani rupees in the international market, drugs were handed over to Pakistan Customs Intelligence for further investigation and legal action.
The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency says the successful operation with Customs Intelligence is a testament to the fact that we are vigilant and committed to stopping the use of Pakistani waters for any illegal activity or purpose.
The Pakistan Maritime Security Agency further said that we will continue to fulfill our national duties and responsibilities to establish the rule of law at sea.
