KARACHI (REPORTBEAT) – Lahore Qalandars crushed Karachi Kings by six wickets in in the 11th match of sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at National Cricket Stadium in Karachi on Sunday.
Karachi Kings set 187 runs target for Qalandars after the later won the toss and invited them to bat first.
Karachi Kings picked up their second win in three games on Saturday as they chased down 196 against the Multan Sultans with seven balls to spare so confidence will be high ahead of this game. They face the Qalandars who suffered their first loss last time out so they will be eager to bounce back. That will not be easy however against the Kings and the Qalandars did feel the absence of Rashid Khan in the loss to the Sultans on Friday.
They now face the Kings whose batting looks formidable right now and the one positive about their bowling even on those batting-friendly tracks is that they have plenty of options to use. That may just give them the edge in this game against the Qalandars who do not possess the same level of depth so that sees the Kings preferred.
