Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Shahbaz Gill has said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to take resignation from Law Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for selling vote in the 2018 Senate elections.

In a statement, Shahbaz Gill said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had given orders to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan regarding the resignation of the provincial minister.

It may be recalled that a video of alleged buying and selling of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly members for the 2018 Senate elections has come to light today.

It can be seen in the video that piles of notes were placed in front of PTI members to buy votes.

It is clear in the video that the current law minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sultan Muhammad, received the money and put it in his bag.
