Hamza Shahbaz withdraws bail from Supreme court.
Lawyer Hamza Shabhaz says the allegation was worth Rs 7 billion. Reference was filed for Rs 53 crore. The case has improved after the reference was filed.
Opposition leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has withdrawn his bail application from the Supreme Court in a money laundering case, after which the Supreme Court rejected Hamza Shahbaz’s bail application on the basis of withdrawing bail.
Earlier during the hearing, Justice Sardar Tariq remarked that Hamza Shahbaz would withdraw the petition or would he like to follow it? No case has been filed in the High Court on the basis of hardship. Justice Yahya Afridi remarked that a point which was not taken up in the High Court cannot be taken up directly in the Supreme Court.
After the report of the accountability court, it would be appropriate to approach the High Court.
