Gold prices rose in global and local barter markets. According to a statement issued by the All Pakistan Barter and Jewelers Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 150 per tola on Monday, the first day of the business week. After which the price of gold per tola increased from one lakh twelve thousand four hundred rupees to one lakh twelve thousand five hundred and fifty rupees.
Similarly, the price of 24 carat gold per ten grams of gold also increased by Rs. Four hundred and fifty two rupees.
In international market, the price of gold per ounce increased by five dollars, after which the price of gold per ounce increased from one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine dollars to one thousand eight hundred and thirty four dollars.
While there was no change in the price of silver per tola, due to which the price of 24 carat silver per tola remained at Rs. 1300. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of silver also remained at Rs. 1114.
