Today’s match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators has been postponed after a player from the Shadab Khan-led side tested positive for Covid-19.

The match will now take place tomorrow at 7:00 pm (PST), according to PCB.

Later, in a tweet by Islamabad United’s official Twitter account, it was revealed that player who tested positive was Australian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed.

Sources have also revealed that both teams practiced together ahead of the match today.

“A player from one of the sides featuring in this evening’s match has tested positive. The player had showed symptoms two days ago and had been immediately isolated. Members of his side have tested negative while the players of the other side are being tested,” the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement.
