After a long time, the preparations for the match against the international team are extraordinary. The players of the national team held a practice session for more than four hours on the second day as well.

While the 20-member national squad has been practicing at the National Stadium Karachi  for the last two days, the Proteas are visiting the ground for the first time since their arrival.

On the occasion, head coach Misbah-ul-Haq, bowling coach Waqar Younus, former batsman Muhammad Yousuf, former captain Younus Khan and saqlain Mushtaq guided the bowlers and batsmen.

The two teams will play the first Test of the two-match series at the NSK from January 26-30 while the second Test will be played at the Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi from February 4-8.

After the Test series, the action will move on to Lahore where both the teams will play three T20Is from February 11-14.
